Welcome to today! We are starting out with some bare basics here. Sean is looking at options for us here at the web site. So we'll keep putting out this blog and tweak the results.

First off, the mission of SSA is to build communication and understanding among all people of the world. So here are some of my favorite proverbs from around the globe. Let's look for the gifts everyone has to offer.....

One who loves the vase loves also what is inside.
African Proverb

Where there is love there is no darkness.

When one is in love, a cliff becomes a meadow.

The heart that loves is always young.

unused path."
Scandinavian proverb

"The spoken word belongs half to him that speaks and half to him who hears."
French proverb

"What is life?  It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset."
Crowfoot, (Blackfoot Warrior And Orator)

Our plans miscarry if they have no aim. When a man does not know what harbor he is making for, no wind is the right wind." -– Seneca
